Nine Pieces of Student Artwork SelectedGrade 7 and 8 Ojibwe students from the Saugeen First Nation who attend the Anishnaabemowin (Native Language) class at G.C. Huston Public School in Southampton shine with artistic talent.  This fall they submitted their artwork to the Youth Arts Program at the Legislative Assembly  and were successful in having their artwork selected for display at an upcoming exhibit.  The students utilized a variety of techniques and materials to complete their individual pieces which were inspired by Mshkokmii-kwe (Mother Earth).  The art will be on display at the Legislative Assembly in the new year, and the students and their families will be invited to attend a reception in Toronto in February to celebrate their success.  Keep soaring above the clouds!
